Privacy notice
What we store
- Your identity, from LearningHub when you log in: user id, login, name, email address and avatar link. We use it to assign your role and budget.
- Usage metadata for every request: time, model, token counts, cost, and which of your keys was used. Kept for 12 months for budgeting and billing.
- Chat history in the chat UI (llm.42hn.dev), stored on our servers so you can return to your conversations. You can delete chats at any time.
- An audit log of key creation and revocation, and of role or status changes made by staff.
What we do not store
The gateway does not log the content of your prompts or the models' answers. Requests from your editor, CLI tools or own code pass through and are not kept.
Who else receives data
Your prompts are forwarded to the model provider through OpenRouter. Routing is restricted to providers that do not retain prompts or use them for training (zero data retention). Providers may be located outside the EU. Your name, login and email are not sent with your requests.
Who can see what
Staff can see your role, status, keys (never the key itself) and how much you have spent. Staff cannot read prompts sent through your keys. Chat history in the chat UI is stored school-side and is accessible to its administrators.
Your part
Do not paste other students' evaluation code, credentials, or personal data about other people.
